Grafton Canoe & Kayak Rental
With over 90 years of experience in safe outdoor fun and
exploration, our staff is dedicated to providing unique experiences for all age
groups. We offer five different float trips, with many sizes of canoes and
kayaks to choose from. For cyclists, all sizes of mountain bikes are available;
ride the scenic Bike Trail through Grafton, over wooded hills to Pere Marquette
State Park. We also offer Wave Runners, pontoon boats, fishing boats, ski
boats, canoes and kayaks. Pool party reservations include regulation horseshoe
pits, bonfire, barbeque grills and picnic tables. Tepee rentals (sleeps up to
12) for overnight stays. We're located on the Bike Trail, directly north of the
Grafton Public Launching Ramp. If you're looking for a complete weekend of fun,
or if you only have an hour or two, Grafton Canoe & Kayak has you covered!

Pere Marquette State Park and Lodge
Located 5 miles west of Grafton, Pere
Marquette State Park comprises 8,050 acres making it Illinois' largest state
park. The Park is famous for the beauty of its fall colors and as a home for
bald eagles in the winter. In addition to the spectacular views of the Illinois
and Mississippi rivers from several scenic overlooks, visitors can take
advantage of a variety of year-round recreational activities, including hiking,
biking, horseback riding, camping, fishing, boating, and taking part in
interpretative programs.

The LaMarsh Guest House
This historic stone house (circa 1836)
was built for the first mayor of Grafton and sold to Frenchie LaMarsh in about
1850. The LaMarsh Family owned the house for over 100 years. Frenchie ran a
livery stable and milk delivery service. We purchased the house in 1998 and up
until this spring it was used as The LaMarsh House gift shop. The gift shop is
now located at 225 E.Main in with River Bank Gifts.

The Grafton Inn
The Grafton Inn offers two spacious suites,
both with a GREAT river view. Each suite has a large sitting area
furnished with a TV, DVD player and full size sofa with a pull-out
bed. The kitchenette includes a refrigerator, microwave and coffee
pot with coffee, Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, bottled water and popcorn.
The bedroom has a queen-size bed and fireplace. The fireplace can be
enjoyed year-round.
